Non-Sketchy News Search v2: Takin’ It to SPARQL

Non-Sketchy News Search (NSNS) v2

The first version of Non-Sketchy News Search uses API calls to find media on Wikipedia by category and bundle selected outlets into a Google search. Finding media sources that way is kludgy, though it can get you lots of different results.

This version of NSNS uses SPARQL queries to find media resources by keyword and bundle them into Google queries. It will find somewhat different results from NSNS v1, so feel free to use them both.

After you run the search you’ll get a list of media outlets that match your search terms. Click on the checkboxes of the outlets you’d like to include
in a Google search and click the button at the bottom of the list. A Google search will open in a new tab.
